| Lord Jesus adopts us into His Power & Authority |
| கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு தமது ஆற்றலுக்குள்ளும் அதிகாரத்திற்க்குள்ளும் நம்மை ஏற்கிறார் |
In the times of Paul, as per Roman law; the Father had all power & authority over his children. The authority meant complete control even to disown or kill them. The Roman law also had a provision of adoption. The practice of adoption completed canceled the rights in the old family and provided the rights in the new family.
In this context Paul writes these verses (given below). What he means is, we were in Power of Sin. God, thorough Jesus Christ took us out of that Power into His Power and Authority. This adoption cancels and wipes out the past and we are made new. This was the foretold Plan of God for the our redemption.
